Flutter Butterfly Hat, a simple lace pattern a deep rib and finished off with a pompom.

Flutter... represents pretty native butterflies dancing among the tussocks on the hill country station.

The yarn is Goodwool & Otematata Station DK in the beautiful colour Muster. A fully traceable yarn, grown at Otematata Station, made in Christchurch at Wild Earth Yarns and dyed with natural dyes by Bex at Good Wool.

The pattern has two versions, knitted flat on straight needles or on the round on double pointed needles.

TENSION: 22 sts and 30 rows to 10 cm [4 ins] over stst on 4 mm (6 US) needles.
