Amazing Baby Shower gifts!
They have become very popular baby gifts for friends and family in the fire service. Pattern size fits 3 ¾ inch foot length (newborn and up) as long as it's comfortable. Bootie is designed from the sole up. I have left space on the sides so you can personalize the door area. When giving as gifts, I look up the colors, truck number and placements of the emergency lights for the fire department for that individual. These tiny details will be noticed by the family.
I also have patterns for Police or Sheriff Vehicle, Ambulance and School Bus booties (photo included, patterns sold separately).
Yarn used: Cascade 220 superwash in red and white. Accents include: gray, black in yarn or floss. Embroidery required for finishing. Knit flat with written pattern directions. Medium worsted can also be used for slightly larger finished booties. I use a knit tire design, you can also embroider the tires using the circular spoke design used for the headlights
