Fern Sweater Crochet Pattern for 18" Dolls

GAUGE (Important to ensure your finished piece fits): 9sts and 7 rows in hdc = 2"x2"

A cute, textured little sweater for 18" dolls such as American Girl®, it features mini bobble stitches and V stitches and is fun to make and a stash busting pattern!

The sweater can be made as a top, or crocheted with sleeves for a sweater. It is crocheted from the top down, with a split at the top, which will be buttoned. The sweater is then joined together for the body and worked in the round, after the divide for the sleeves. The ch2 at the beginning of the hdc rows are then used for the button holes.

There's no sewing together of individual pieces of the garment. The only sewing needed is for the buttons at the end and of course the weaving in of the ends :)
