Product Description
This 20's style hat is fun & easy to make in 100% lamb's wool, suitable for felting (not superwash or wool blend) - see note. Crochet first, then felt in a washing machine. Hot water, detergent, and agitation (with tennis balls, rubber flip flops, and/or jeans) will cause stitches to shrink and form a solid fabric to shape and let dry. Instructions are clearly written for each of 10 separate hat sizes with measurements to allow for possible yarn substitutions. Ability to hand sew with needle & thread will be required to finish the 3 or 4 inch coiled flower, which will appear smaller against large hat; larger against a small hat. Actual styling will vary. Felting instructions + abbreviation key with descriptions, incuded.
Hats are soft and flexible, yet hold their shape. Dressy or casual for all ages. Ideal for packing and travel.
