Evening Tide

This design is inspired by one of my favorite beaches and reminds me of the curling foamy surf against the sea beyond. The pattern uses yarn overs, decreases and a cable worked on the wrong side to make a more relaxed rippling cable texture.

Pattern Details: Yarn: Knit Picks Hawthorne (80% Superwash Fine Highland Wool, 20% Polyamide, 357 yards/100 grams) or a fine sock yarn Gauge: 35 stitches = 4” (10cm) in pattern Needles: US Size 4(3.50mm) Notions: Tapestry needle and cable needle Sample Blocked Finished Size: 46" (117 cm) long, 5" (12.5 cm) wide.
