Product Description
About the Design: The shaped cables in this scarf bring a quirky liveliness to a traditional cable stitch pattern. The cables undulate evenly to and fro, as if to create large S’s.
The 6 samples are in a variety of Cascade Yarns wool blend yarns, but, feel free to use a cotton blend yarn for a spring or summer scarf. The length is totally up to you. Use a Jul pedestal button, shawl pin or stick to secure it, for extra panache.
Gauge: 1) 10 sts and 14 rows = 4″ (10 cm) in St st with 2 strands Cloud 2) 9.5 sts and 13 rows = 4″ in St st with 2 strands Pastaza 3) 10 sts and 12 rows = 4″ in St st with 1 strand Lana Grande, and size 15 ndls or size to give gauge. [14 st x 28 row rep = approx 3.5-4″ wide x 8.25-9″ long]
