Product Description
Enchanted Forest Mittens is a stranded colorwork design telling a story of a Slavic folklore character, Baba Yaga, who lives in her Hut on chicken legs deep in the forest. The charts suggest 9 different colors. You can, however, use fewer or more colors.
Notes
• Size: The size of the mittens can be adjusted with yarn and needles. My recommendation would be: for S/M light fingering + 2mm needles, for M use fingering + 2.25/2.5 mm needles, for large use sport weight and 2.5/3 mm needles.
• Stranded colorwork: Follow the charts from right to left. Catch longer floats using preferred method.
• Duplicate stitch: Some of the details are added by using duplicate stitch technique or embroidery.
• Adding beads (optional): The pattern will have suggestions on where to use beads.
