Eira is a seamless shawl knitted bottom-up with a beautiful lace stitch easily memorizable. The stockinette section is worked with shortened rows creating its crescent shape. Eyelets were added for the cast on and the bind-off edge both to decorate and prevent the shawl from curling. This is one skein project – I’ve knitted it with less than 1 skein of Malabrigo sock.
