Product Description
The Double Twist Hat features columns of ribbing that twist twice and move apart only to twist with another column before ending in a simple but elegant crown. It works up quickly and makes a cozy hat for children or adults.
The pattern has been test knit and tech edited.
Level: Easy
The pattern uses one cable, which is described in the pattern and standard decrease stitches (ssk and k2tog).

Gauge on the cable rows is very important for sizing. If your cables are much tighter or looser, you can adjust the starting number of stitches. The pattern can be worked for any multiple of 16 stitches.
The pictured hat used a provisional cast on, which was then used to knit an inner hat. Instructions are included to create a similar double layered hat.
