I've used double knit, chunky and Aran weight yarns but not a lot of each so you may possibly have enough in your stash, I know us knitters keep our unused yarn for these type of projects. The overall size is approx 22x15ins/56x38cms. My little doll is 20ins and she fits fine. A lovely little bed for a doll or teddy bear, easily made for that special little someone.
