Dilya Hat

Here is a beautiful cable hat design that is knit seamlessly from the top down. It has an intricate cable weave on the brim. The brim band expands slightly at the end. I have used two owl shaped buttons to hold it together. You can easily adjust the placement of the buttons for a perfect fit.

Skill level: intermediate Finished dimensions: sized for girls 3-10 years old (head circumference about 20 inches) Yarn: worsted weight yarn (about 3.5 oz). Needles: double-end needles and 16" circular needle size 3.75mm/US5 or size to obtain gauge, cable needle. Other materials: 2 buttons, tapestry needle. Gauge: 10 st and 13 rows = 2" (stockinette stitch) To save time , please check your gauge.
