Diamond fingerless gloves

A pretty, feminine pair of fingerless gloves with a pretty diamond lace pattern, for those cooler days.

They are knitted in double knit/light worsted weight yarn. The lacy pattern is easy - main instructions are yarn forward; knit1, slip 1, pass the slipped stitch over; knit 2 together. You will also need to know how to cast/bind on and off, knit, purl and rib (knit1, purl1). They are knitted flat on 2 needles and sewn up the side, leaving a gap for the thumb. Line by line instructions in English, with British and American terms.

Yarn recommendations are given, but any double knit/light worsted yarn should work well, although you may like to check your tension/gauge.
