Debbie Bliss Rialto DK

I purchased this Debbie Bliss rialto yarn and spent around 4 months knitting a jumper. I purchased the yarn especially because it was advertised as a super wash (meaning it's machine washable) merino. I finished knitting it and before wearing it for the first time washed it as per the instructions on the ball band (30 degree cycle). This is an excellent yarn to crochet: smoth to work with and well spinned.

There were too many joins in the ball of wool, which was disappointing because otherwise the quality is lovely.

It knits up really well and is beautifully soft and light. The colours are beautiful. Would be five stars but I do have an issue with the weight of the balls (consistently underweight) so you need to order plenty. Also, the balls tend to unravel very easily which is difficult when you are doing pattern or fair isle work as you end up with heaps of wool to twist instead of neat balls.

My favourite wool for warm family jumpers. Lovely range of colours. Knits up firmly and neatly. Highly recommended.

Very soft, used for baby clothes but haven't washed items yet, knites up well and will buy again

Excellent quality! I have used this to make a sweater which received many compliments so I have bought more wool to make a baby’s cardigan. Washes well. The colour is a lovely soft duck egg colour.

Knits well and resilient to being undone several times when I made repeated mistakes! I'm using it for nilbinding at present (a Viking form of knitting) and it's holding up well to repeated unravelling when many mistakes, made as a beginner, make it a necessity!

I love this wool and have used it often. The texture is perfect for baby clothes and toys.
