Dear Hubbie

“Dear Hubbie” is an unisex, beanie with allover texture and cables. Perfect project for the DK weight yarn.

Materials

• Fyberspates Vivacious DK (100% Merino) 100g/ 252 yards (230 meters); 1 (1, 2) skeins or approx. 220 (250, 280) yards [201 (228, 256 meters)] of DK weight yarn that knits up to gauge. The sample is knit with “Lundy Island” colorway.
• US 4 /[3.5 mm/] & 6 /[4 mm/] 16" (40cm) circular needles or DPNs
• Cable needle
• One stitch marker
• Tapestry needle

Sizes small (medium, large) To fit head circumference: 19 (22, 24)" [48 (56, 61) cm]. Approx. hat length: 8.25 (8.75, 8.75)" [21 (22.5, 22.5) cm].

Gauge 1 repeat of Cable Pattern (16 sts and 8 rows) worked with larger needles = approx. 3" (7.5 cm) by 1.5" (3.5 cm) measured after blocking. Make sure to obtain correct gauge; adjust needle size if needed.
