Dainty Dirigible Plum Earrings

Luna Lovegood is a beloved character in the later Harry Potter books. She is known particularly for sporting Dirigible Plum (Radish) earrings. While I've seen patterns for knitting up a pair, they all seemed larger than what I was looking for...so I've written up a pattern for a delicate beaded pair.

The pattern may seem a little fussy, but once the knitter gets past the beaded section, the rest of the construction flies by and the pair can be completed in an evening.
