Crochet Cowl - Tesserae Mosaic Cowl

I originally designed this pattern with Malabrigo's Mecha yarn. It's a lovely bulky single-ply pure merino superwash wool that is so soft and coxy. The color, Arco Iris, is simply gorgeous and it reminds me of beautiful stained glass windows or a mosaic of colorful glass. It's what inspired the name, Tesserae is a small block of tile or glass used in making mosaics.

I imagine you could make this in any bulky weight yarn keeping in mind that Mecha has a slight thick-and-thin texture. Use a weight of yarn of your choice that will work up well in the gauge listed. That will ensure the consistency of your cowl.
