Crochet Cable Blanket

Beauitful cables do not need to be difficult or time consumming! I spent many years thinking I had to learn to be a better knitter to achieve the gorgeous "cable knit sweater" style in a throw. As a beginner, I was convinced this level of beauty wasn't possible in anything I could create in simple crochet and that I would never be good enough to knit such works. I was wrong!

After many years working in Tunisian crochet, adapting crochet patterns into Tunisian, and creating original Tunisian patterns, I decided to try again! This pattern will help you create a beautiful, but simple, cable on one side of a work. To create a practical blanket for kid's or family rooms, use economical yarns For an heirloom quality work, use higher quality. Either way, you will receive Ooos and AAhhhs when you present this gift or display it in your home (and I'll trust you to keep the secret about how easy it was!)
