Cozy Chunky Vest

Such a cozy chunky vest in heavenly soft bulky wool is a sure favorite of sweater season. With its pretty simple construction and uncomplicated stitch patterns, it works up quickly and looks much more sophisticated than it actually is.

The vest is worked lengthwise as one piece, in stripes of treble crochet zigzag lace and two-sided Camel stitch naturally rolling at neckline into a lapel-like collar. Large ribbed patch pockets add even more cozy vibes. Slip stitch edging all over the body and armholes creates the finished harmonious look and prevents garment edges from rolling up.

The garment is intended to be worn slightly oversized (4-6” / 10-15 cm of ease), open front or with a removable tassel pin closure (instructions for making are included).
