Cordial Embraces

„Cordial Embraces” is a crescent shaped shawl with clipped corners, worked from side to side in one piece. Its wide border in Japanese lace style with a traditional leaf garland pattern is worked together with the reverse stockinette stitch body and included both charted and as written-out row-by-row description. Short row shaping creates a slight curvature so the shawl stays put.

Gauge: 19 sts and 30 rows per 4” (10 cm) in reverse stockinette stitch after blocking – save time by checking the gaugeGauge is not essential; however, with a different gauge, actual finished measurements and total yardage will change.
