A cabled beanie suitable for either gender, sizes are written for children – xl adult. The cables mirror image, or “copy” each other.
A great pattern for when you want something "different" yet not too difficult.

Skill level: Intermediate – long (but simple) cable rows!
Size: XS, S/M, M/L, XL approx. length: 7.5 (8, 8, 8.5)” width: 16-‐21 (18-‐23, 20-‐24, 21-‐26)”
Yarn: 130 (140, 150, 160) yards worsted weight yarn (shown in Lion Brand Wool-‐Ease)
Needles: US 7 (4.5mm) 16” circulars and double points or size to get close gauge
Gauge: 4.5 sts & 6.5 rows = 1” in stockinette
Notes: cables can be worked with or without a cable needle
