The brim's structural integrity comes from the recommended cast on, the tight gauge, shaping, and leaving the wraps in place unless otherwise specified. Brim photo tutorial available - email me after purchase of pattern, woolybearhandknits@yahoo.com. Earlier versions of the cap used the abbreviation sl1 in the brim construction - this means slip 1.
