Cloves Cardigan

This thoughtfully designed cardigan with pockets is perfect for transitioning from season to season, as it can be layered with short or long sleeves underneath. A lacy feminine collar finishes things off perfectly and delicately.

The cardigan is worked in pieces from the hem up, then seamed. Edging is worked sideways directly onto cardigan after pockets and shoulders are seamed, working through double thickness of fabric (front and pocket) at lower fronts.

The pattern has full written instructions and includes both a chart and written instructions for the lace edging.

Yarn DK weight yarn1200 (1350, 1500, 1650, 1800) yds/1110 (1235, 1375, 1500, 1645) m.

Hooks Sizes F/5 (3.75 mm) and 7 (4.5 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.

Notions Removable stitch markers (m); 5⁄8” buttons, 2; yarn needle; sewing needle and sewing thread.

Gauge 15 sts and 14 rows = 4” in pattern stitch, with larger hook.
