“Cloud” Easy Poncho and Cowl

Light as a cloud, warm as a blanket!

A very warm, chunky, poncho to wrap up in, for that walk by the sea! Wear it one of two ways – with points at the front and back, or on the sides. Plus a matching cowl, for extra warmth.

Soft, fluffy, super-chunky/super-bulky yarn, and garter stitch, (i.e. knit every row), combine to give a modern, textured look.

The pattern is very easy, so great for a beginner, as all you need to know is how to cast/bind on and off, the knit stitch, and sewing up. And it’s a great meditative knit for the more experienced. Written line by line in English, with British/US terms. Yarn recommendations are given, but most super-chunky/super-bulkyyarns, with a recommended needle size of approx. 9mm, should work well with this pattern, although amounts may vary and please check your tension/gauge - I have used a larger size than the recommended needle size for this yarn, so that it hangs better.
