Product Description
These beautifully intricate boot cuffs are the perfect project for advanced knitters. Knit stitch chains cross and interlock on a mesh background. The complexity of the stitches engages the mind, and the 5 sizes mean you can make them to be worn with either ankle or calf high boots. Yarn: DK weight, approx. 100-241 yds (91.5-220 m).
Shown in: Malabrigo Silky Merino. DK weight, 51% silk / 49% Merino Wool. Colorway 412, Teal Feathers.
Needles: one set U.S. size 6 (4.0 mm) double pointed needles, or size needed to obtain gauge.
Optional extra needles: U.S. Size 5 (3.75 mm) or U.S. Size 4 (3.5 mm) double pointed needles.
Gauge: 24 stitches and 34 rows in chain link pattern, worked in the round and unblocked = 4 in. x 4 in (10 cm x 10 cm).
Notions: cable needle, locking stitch marker, tapestry needle.
