Gauge for Cascade 220 Fingering yarn: 10 cm x 10 cm (4" x 4") = 26 sts x 32 rows in stockinette stitch using needles 2.5 (US 1).

Materials needed • 4 double-pointed needles and circular needles in a size suitable for the yarn weight you are using. I recommend using needles a size or two smaller than the yarn calls for, to produce a firm fabric. size 1 (2,5 mm), size 2,5 (3mm), size 4 (3,5mm) • Green and orange yarn Cascade 220 Fingering color Amber Glow (9622), Primavera (8903)(100% Merino Wool, 50g (1.8oz)/250m, Sport) • Toy stuffing • Button diameter of 5 mm for fastening the carrot to the hat • Yarn needle • Stitch holder • Beads for decoration
