Carnival Cardigan

A contemporary take on a classic shape, the three-color Carnival Cardigan features seed stitch accents outlining a simple four-row, knit/purl texture stitch.

Only one color is used on each row, with no horizontal carrying or ends to weave—a simple technique that creates the illusion of more complex color work!

The cardigan is worked from the bottom up and seamed; there’s no need to set in the sleeves that are picked up and knit from the shoulder to the cuff. Button bands and neck are also picked up and worked in seed stitch. Choose five 7/8" buttons for the button band.
