The Capitol Dome hat was inspired by the dome of the Pennsylvania State Capitol building's dome - I love the shade of green! The hat uses four different colors of fingering weight wool. I've made it with browns and green with a gold top, and I've made it with grays and maroon. Looking forward to seeing pictures of the way YOU knit it!
Yarn packs for Mrs Knitter Designs patterns are available through the Mrs Knitter Designs website www.mrsknitterdesigns.com. Variations in gauge can be made to purposely personalize the hat size. The hat can be a tam by blocking on a plate rather than a bowl when finished.
