How about this super cute Butterfly Bag? :) Pick 5 colors (or more) and off you go! The bag comes with two inner bags for your purse, phone etc. There are two loops for key-rings, too. And you can choose between two sizes! :)You can use any yarn you like. I used DK yarn and a 4.0 mm hook.

With lighter yarn the bag will be smaller, with heavier yarn it will be bigger. This pattern contains lots of reference pictures and step-by-step-instructions (photo tutorial);
