Product Description

The inspiration for the name of this simple, reversible brioche hat came from a song by That 1 Guy called 'How's 'bout Them Holes In the Moon' about... a lot of things, partly how bread always lands butter side down. This is a fantastic project if you'd like to learn brioche knitting AND 'helix knitting' for jogless stripes in one easy go! You can choose to make it slouchy or short by how many rounds you knit.

To knit this hat, you will need: Approximately 200 meters/218 yards worsted or aran weight yarn in main colour and contrast colour. Sample shown in Noro Silk Garden and Alpakka Ull

4.5 mm circular needles with a 40 cm/16 inch cable (size 7 US)

Set of 4.5 mm dpns (size 7 US)

Stitch markers

Tapestry needle

Gauge 13 sts = 10 cm/4 inches in brioche stitch
