Bunny Hat

Download our PDF knitting pattern to knit a cute as a button baby’s animal hats. Knit either a bunny hat, with gorgeous floppy ears, or a bold brown bear.

Using circulars is great fun, and this hat pattern is a great introduction, if you haven’t used them before. To knit the hats, you’ll need 4.5 and 5mm circulars, max 40cms in length, or (dpns if you prefer). To knit the rabbit hat, you’ll also need a pair of single pointed needles in 5.5mm for the floppy ears.

We’ve used Drops Big Merino in the colours “Marble” (for the bunny) and “Mocha” (for the bear), but you can use any comparable Aran weight yarn, i.e. Schachenmayr Merino Extra Fine 85, or Millamia Naturally Soft Aran..

This is a multi-size pattern for 0-6; 6-12 and 12-24 months.
