Bulky Animal Hats

Materials:

1. WW4 yarns such as RHSS, Bernat Super Value, or I Love This Yarn (work double stranded) or BULKY 6 yarns (work single stranded) such as Lion Brand Hometown USA. The yardage is approximate for each size as we all know yarn brands can be thinner or thicker and tension plays a big part. I did round up each yardage length to accommodate for tension differences so the numbers in the chart are the maximum amounts you will need.

I highly recommend not using thinner WW4 yarns for this project such Caron Simply Soft. I worked one hat up using 2 strands of the CSS and didn’t like the look of the gaps in the textures (although 3 strands of it together may work).
