Brioche Just like Aran Scarf

This 1-colour beginners Brioche scarf pattern is based on our traditional “Aran” patchwork-style design and on the traditional Aran stitches. I designed it to equip you with all stitches necessary to master Brioche, and I would advise you to try and combine each pattern to create your individual design (or follow my example!).

This scarf is very light in weight, yet very warm, and it holds its shape extremely well. Remember that Brioche is reversible, so you can wear your scarf on both sides, and the edges don’t roll.

The fabric is equally beautiful in a solid, traditional “Aran tweed colour” such as here, or in a variegated yarn (a yarn which changes colour within the strand).
