This stylish crochet handbag looks fresh and modern. Design works up quickly and is suitable for beginners.

Pattern uses category 6 yarn which showcases the subtle yet distinct brickle texture thus the name The Brickle Crochet Handbag.

Use an 8 mm hook with the super bulky tape, tube or home decor yarn that is worked into a leather or faux leather base of your choice (shown is an 11"base) and simple hardware makes a statement.

While the bag is customizable to the base size you chose, as shown it is 10" high and 12" wide. Design uses two full skeins of Lion Brand Cover story lazy days with substitutions listed.

You will also need two 2" D rings to attach straps and easy to find straps with clasps. Shown is a cross body style strap and a short leather strap meant for holding close to the body in the arm crook.
