Product Description
This is a pdf knitting pattern, written in English and using standard US terminology, for you to knit a worsted weight 'Bottoms' diaper cover in sizes newborn, 0 to 3 months, 3 to 6 months, 6-9 months and 9 months to one year.
The completed diaper cover is a photo prop to be used with supervision in newborn and sitter photography sessions.
This pattern is well-suited to both a beginner or intermediate knitter as I have included instructions to knit flat and seam, or to knit in the round. You will also need to know how to crochet a basic chain for the waistband tie. Alternately, you could knit an i-cord.
It requires worsted weight yarn on 5mm (US8) needles.
You will need to know how to cast on, knit, purl, yarn over, SSK, knit two stitches together and execute the kitchener stitch.
My gauge: 18 sts and 24 rows is 10x10 cms (4"x4").
