Product Description
A cropped cardigan or bolero for little girls. This has been designed to go over summer dresses and keep shoulders and chests warm, while still showing off the lovely skirts of the dresses. Please note that if you intend to use this over a long sleeve top you will need to upsize to get a bit more ease in the bolero.
There are 5 different edging finishes available for this pattern; plain garter stitch edge, garter with picot edge, garter with a bell pleat ruffle, garter with a plain ruffle and garter with a lace ruffle. Four sleeve options are available; cap sleeves, flutter sleeves, tapered 3/4 sleeves and tapered long sleeve.
This Bolero is knit all in one piece, with no seaming. The body of the bolero is knit flat on long circular needles. Then you pick up stitches along the neckline and front edges and knit this in the round. If doing a ruffle you continue to knit this flat from this point. Sleeves are knit in the round either on small circular needles or using magic loop or dpn’s
