Variegated yarn is so gorgeous but can be so hard to find a pattern for! Blips was designed specifically to amplify variegated yarn using a picot edging and a picot bind off.
Blips has an 8 row repeat that is very easy to memorize which makes it a great take along project. Blips was featured as the Malabrigo Quickie pattern for May 2021.
YARN 840 yards (768 meters) of fingering weight yarn
NEEDLES US 5 (3.75mm) / 32” (80cm needle) or longer
NOTIONS Tapestry needle
GAUGE 20 stitches by 24 garter bumps = 4 inches (10 cm) in blocked garter
Adjust needle size to obtain correct gauge if necessary!
SIZE 72" wide by 27" deep (183 cm wide by 69 cm deep) but easily customizable.
