I was inspired to crochet a little birdhouse after I bought the most beautiful hanging birdhouse from a market in Qatar. As I worked it up, I realized that with some alteration it could work really well as a hanging basket too! So I created this pattern, which includes instructions on how to make either a birdhouse or a hanging basket with just a slight alteration near the end.
This crochet bird house is designed using t shirt yarn. You can buy a skein, or be super resourceful and make your own from recycled t shirts!
One size.
You will need approx 65 yards of t shirt yarn and a size 11.5 mm crochet hook.
