Beorn Cowl and Scarf (DK)

Beorn is a Northman, a Shape-shifter, Skinchanger, and the last of his kind. He has the ability to change his form between that of large man and large bear. He was held in captivity (as were most of his kind), enslaved by Azog The Defiler, escaped, and continues to wear a chain on his wrist as a reminder of that time.

This contains a slightly more complex cable than a simple crossover.

Finished Size: (after blocking) 24” circumference, 8” depth; scarf 38” length, 8” width.

Yarn: Sheepy Time Knits Big Feet 100% superwash merino wool, 231yd/100g

Needles: Size 8 US (5.00 mm) needles or size to obtain gauge. Gauge is not critical but it will affect amount of yarn used.

Gauge: 16 stitches/28 rows per 4” in stockinette stitch.
