Product Description
The pattern/mini tutorial takes the crocheted motif to a whole new place. (Only the Bead Single Crochet is in the form of a written tutorial.) The “Granny” Square itself is modified giving it some dimension, and then literally, turning it on its side. Finally, a leg is added so that the squares can be turned into a scarf. Each motif is finished with silk and a bead single crochets. A Bead Single Crochet instruction is contained within the pattern.
The finished look is quite unique.
The scarf is made out of sock yarn with a crochet hook size G and finished with spooled silk (Beadsmith FFF), small cylinders (Deicas, Treasures of Aikos), which is crocheted with a size C hook. There are instructions contained within the pattern on how to do a bead single crochet.
The sample shown was created using Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Sock Yarn in the colorway, Mineshaft, however any light weight sock yarn will work for this pattern
