About the Design: Whether you call it an iCozy, iSleeve, iSock, or iCover, this pattern is the 4th in a series of knit covers for your cell phone or eyeglasses. Cell phones are ubiquitous, so, with a small investment of time, you can knit a colorful i-cover! The covers only weigh about an ounce, so they make good use of all those tiny balls of stash yarns we can’t bear to get rid of. Knit it in either bright and cheery colors, or more subdued colors, like the sand, blues, and brown version, which reminds me of a rainy day at the beach! Four color charts are enclosed, but feel free to put your own color choices to the pattern.
These samples use a mix of Brown Sheep yarns and Cascade Yarns Ecological Wool.
US size 6 (4 mm) dpns, set of 5 Tapestry ndl, stitch marker or waste yarn 1” diam. button for each cover, sewing ndl and thread.
Gauge: 20 sts and 28 rnds = 4” (10 cm) in St st, and 22 and 26 sts = 4” in color patt with size 6 ndls, or size to give gauge,
