Barry the bee

Barry the bee loves flying through the fields collecting his favourite flowers. You can make your own Barry the bee and the flowers with this pattern, written in US terminology. It includes photos of the key steps and detailed and clear instructions. The finished toy is 15cm tall when sitting.

You will need to know how to:

Make a magic ring

Single, double, half double, double and treble crochet

Increase and invisible decrease

Slip stitch and chain

Basic sewing and embroidery skills

Work in joined rounds (instructions provided)

Work in front loops only

Change colour

Fasten off
