This is my Back Button Up Dog Coat knitting pattern. This range of dog coats have been especially designed for dogs who do not like coats pulled over their heads. It is worked flat in any aran (10ply) yarn of your choice on 4mm & 5mm needles. The pattern provides full instructions for 4 dog coat sizes: XS (Chihuahua), S (Jack Russell), M (Boxer) & L (Labrador) and there are also numerous photos to help you throughout.

This knitting pattern is easy to follow and knits up really well. There's one minor typo which is confusing until you realize it's a typo - on the button hole band, row 4 it says to rib 4, turn, cast off 2 stitches when it should say cast ON 2 stitches. Otherwise, a really fun pattern.
