Product Description
About the Design: I designed this duo to be a quick and easy gift for a new baby. The squares are worked circularly, from the perimeter to the center, and so, are very portable. I used a thick, roving type yarn, which, when lightly fulled, gives a soft, cozy haven for baby. Velcro along the front edges makes for quick bundling up of baby. The blanket is not fulled, but could be, if you choose. Naturally, the finished dimensions would be smaller.
Work it in the colors shown for a girl, or Denim and Natural for a boy.
**Blanket: **30” square, **Bunting: **30” long x 41” circ.
Substitute Yarn Weight: super bulky non-superwash wool. Look for one around 20 yds/oz. Some super bulkies are too thin, others are too thick. They can be used, although dimensions will either be smaller or larger than in the pattern.
**Gauge: **9 sts and 14 rnds = 4” (10 cm) in St st using size 11 ndls or size to give gauge. To save time take time to check gauge.
