Meet Baby Bear, a romper and hat set with a dungaree style bib front, a friendly teddy face and pocket, a paw print on the back, and two little ears on the hat that make the whole thing impossible to walk past in a pram. This is a lovely pattern if you have never tried short row shaping before. The wrap and turn shaping at the back waist is the only new technique here, written out clearly so it is easy to follow, and everything else in the pattern is simple, familiar knitting. The straps cross at the back like a classic pair of dungarees, with buttonholes that give you plenty of room to adjust the fit as your little one grows.
