Product Description
Bursting with texture and color, this blanket is perfect as a stashbuster. With join-as-you-go modernized granny squares, a funky linen stitch corner and textured border, there's lots of fun going on "around the corner".
Thoroughly tested pattern includes: ~~Complete materials list including the 26 colors of yarn used ~~Stitch abbreviations (US terms), special stitches and notes sections ~~Written instructions for making the square motifs, joining them, and adding the “corner” and border ~~picture section detailing joining and special stitches ~~color placement chart
Materials: ~~26 colors (1 skein each of 25 colors, 10 skeins of main color) ~~H (5mm) hook Approximately 2015 yds (1843m) were used to make the sample blanket in aran/worsted weight yarn, but any colors and yarn weight/hook size would be appropriate.
Stitches used: sc, hdc, ch, sl st, dc, (FPdc, puff and FPhdc2tog detailed in pattern)
Gauge is not critical to this pattern.
