Anchor & The Barmy Fox Let's Get Growing Stitchalong

What Is Being Made

This is a beginner-friendly embroidery stitchalong design featuring a greenhouse theme, created in collaboration with Tory from The Barmy Fox. The design is scaled to fit a 7-inch embroidery hoop, making it an accessible project for those new to embroidery. The stitchalong format encourages crafters to work through the design step-by-step, either following live sessions or using pre-recorded tutorials at their own pace.

Embroidery Techniques

This project uses fundamental embroidery techniques suitable for beginners. The design employs stranded cotton thread worked on fabric using a needle, with stitches applied to create the greenhouse imagery. The stitchalong format provides guided instruction through both live demonstrations and recorded video tutorials, making it ideal for those learning embroidery for the first time or developing core skills.

Stitches Used

While specific stitch names are not detailed in the pattern documentation, the project is classified as a beginner embroidery design, indicating that fundamental stitches appropriate for newcomers to the craft are employed throughout. The exact stitch techniques are demonstrated in the accompanying video tutorials available on The Barmy Fox YouTube channel.
