The fibres, taken from the stem are naturally long, straight, and smooth which gives linen is distinct texture. Anchor Linen has an adaptable 6-strand construction which can be divided into finer thread and used for blending colours. It offers a natural finish with a soft yet rustic appeal, and it is pleasing to work with. This colour assortment includes 12 refined shades, dyed using vegetable-based dyes and supplied in 15m lengths, on thread cards. Anchor Linen is suited to all kinds of embroidery, including cross stitch and many other needlework techniques.
