Alexis Hat with Bobble for Adults and Children

This is a quick and simple knit hat available in 4 sizes from toddler to adult and knit in aran weight yarn, suitable for a beginner knitter. Instructions are given for both knit flat and knit in the round construction. Just choose your preferred method. Links to video tutorials are also included.

The cast-on edge and the pompom are worked in a contrast yarn.

The 2 x 2 ribbing makes the folded cuff nice and stretchy, enabling it to fit a wide range of head sizes. The cuff can also be adjusted to give greater or lesser depth if needed.

The main body of the hat is worked in a granite style stitch - a super easy stitch to work. It gives the hat a lovely texture as well as adding loft to make it warm and cosy.
