Product Description
The Ahoy jumper is suitable for both boys and girls, instructions are provided for the Ahoy, boatneck jumper in three sizes, 12-18 months, 2-3 years and 3-4 years. The jumper can be knitted with either a fancy band or a plain garter stitch band. It can be completed in several combinations: create a Fair Isle style pattern using three colours; knit a plain stocking stitch single colour jumper; use two colours for simple stripes or knit the Fair Isle design in a single colour. The fronts and back are identical, the neck shaping is done using wrap and turn (also known as short rows), a technique which produce “clean and neat” shaping.
A plain or striped jumper with garter stitch bands is suitable for a beginner. The Fair Isle version with the fancy rib is suitable for a more experienced knitter.
The two small sizes need 2 buttons the biggest size needs 4 buttons
