Aeon is a modern vest made in a deep, eternal blue. It is constructed from the top down, beginning with the twisted ribbed collar, after which the fronts and back are worked separately until they are joined at the underarms. The twisted ribbing continues down the edges of the fronts, which are designed to be worn open and draping. The fronts and back are split again under the waist to make room for pockets, the linings for which are picked up and created later on. Aeon is simple and sleek and infinitely wearable.
The sample is knit with Baah! Shasta (100% Superwash Merino), an alternative yarn is shown below.

Work in progress but I LOVE this pattern. I’m not a great knitter but every now and then the urge takes me! I am really enjoying this project - the pattern and the stitches are easy to follow and I love how quick it grows! Highly recommended.
